Source: RDIF to announce purchase of 25% in Pulkovo on Thu
MOSCOW, Apr 20 (PRIME) -- A consortium of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), funds of the Middle East, Asia and Baring Vostok will announce the purchase of 25% in St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo airport from VTB on Thursday, a source close to deal participants told PRIME.
“A consortium comprising the RDIF and international co-investors including funds of the Middle East, Asia and Baring Vostok will announce an agreement today to buy a 25% stake in the Pulkovo airport from VTB,” the source said.
“The deal is subject to approval of regulating authorities. A request has been sent to the Federal Antimonopoly Service.”
Earlier in April, the Financial Times reported, citing VTB First Deputy CEO Yury Solovyov that the bank had sold 25% in the airport to the RDIF consortium for 250 million euros.
